Alexander Gounder

Alex is a known face in the WordPress Community in India, primarily because of his work as Meetup Organizer and WordCamp Organizer in Mumbai.

He runs a digital agency in Mumbai which focuses on developing websites in WordPress, other than provide Inbound Marketing and SEO Services.

Kushal Pandya

Kushal is a Frontend Engineer at GitLab for past 2 years and is maintainer of both GitLab CE and EE. His job includes working mainly in Plan and Portfolio Management side of things in GitLab EE, he also is a Merge Request Coach (i.e. assisting community contributors in contributing to GitLab). Prior to GitLab, he worked at Saba Software for over 4 years designing enterprise webapps on Learning (LMS), Talent and Certification domains, with extensive experience working with ExtJS at scale and migration of ExtJS apps to React and Angular 2.

When not writing code, he’s mostly playing games on PS4, flashing Android custom ROMs, exploring Linux distros, watching gadgets on YouTube, playing acoustic guitar, movies, and a short road trip to a hill nearby.

Saurabh Dixit

Saurabh is a Software Engineer lead and mentor at Axelerant. His forte is web development with WordPress and he’s contributed various WordPress plugins to the community—with several plugins are having 50K+ active installs. He spends one-third of his work hours contributing to Open Source technology and spends all of his free time with his wife and baby girl.

Imran Sayed

Imran’s WordPress journey began in 2015, where he started learning WordPress and Javascript. 

Imran is a Translation Contributor, Plugin and Theme Developer currently associated with rtCamp. He received inspiration from Sayed Taqui, a core contributor to WordPress projects and also Imran’s mentor. He also has experience in Node and React and Laravel.

Apart from this, Imran has a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge which led him to start his YouTube channel in 2013, where he teaches Programming on WordPress and Laravel.  

Openness and inclusiveness is something he dearly loves about the WordPress community.

Makarand Mane

Makarand is WordPress enthusiast, working on WordPress from last 7 years. From label of full freelance status he now turned into Agency with special brand for WordPress Service known as WPGenius.in  

Although WordPress is built with PHP, Makarand learnt PHP and jQuery after he started using WordPress.

Makarand is General translation editor for Marathi language and active in the polyglot community. Outside of WordPress, he loves travelling visiting new places, programming workshops in colleges, trying new things and spiritual practice.

Md. Anam Hossain

Anam Hossain is a passionate WordPress Developer and developing at ThemeXpert for 3+ years. He likes to play with the technology and implement those into themes and plugins. On weekends he tries to contribute to the WordPress community and helps to solve problems in the WordPress Forums.

Vachan Kudmule

Vachan became an entrepreneur in 2002, at 17, when he started his firmKDC. It has grown into a full-fledged web solutions agency.

He’s studied architecture and started his second firm KDC Inc in 2006 which provides architecture and interior design solutions.

He ventured into eCommerce Consulting in 2009 and started KDC Pay which assists startups in building full-fledged eCommerce sites with Payment Gateway onboarding and integration.

At present Vachan is involved with all the three while also heading the design and technology teams for White Shadows, a digital marketing agency & KDC eduVents, the parent firm of FOSS.tech; an initiative to assist the FOSS community to grow.

Vachan’s motto is “everything can and must be designed”.

He’s passionate about FOSS (Free Open Source Software) and helping start-ups grow their business.

Self-learning and exploring new ideas keeps him motivated, and he has pioneered many industry-first concepts in alternative access mediums.
